MBA Year 1

I'm currently in my frist semester of my MBA . I chose to purse my graduate studies because I want to learn more about managing a business and update myself the the current business practices in the different industies.

I'm currently taking up 2 subjects --- Management Statistics and Management Information System. I think I was able to choose the right combination for my subject. ManStats involves computations while MIS involes research and case studies.

I gathered new learnings from both of my subjects. For ManStats, I am particularly amazing with the PHSTAT program we add-on to Excel to compute normal probabilities and discrete probabilities. For MIS, I'm awed by the different technological changes that is happening worldwide. I love reading the papers that are provided by our professor every meeting. I aslo love participation in the case study discussion and lectures.

I think I will be one of the 25% who will finish MBS studies.
